Every morning you are served a delightful breakfast and at lunch, a grand French buffet. During the cruise, three different restaurants of fine standing are offered, so you can taste different cuisines. You also have three nights were you can dine in any restaurant of your choice, the barge will always be very close to a restaurant, but you can always drive somewhere else if you prefer.

Driver offAt the end of every day's grand cruise, you'll have a convertible car ready and waiting to go in any direction you desire. Around every corner, you'll find a place of interest to visit. If you want to go shopping, wine tasting, antique markets, village festivals or visit a medieval castle, you just do whatever you wish.

Discover the secret recipes of chefs and cooks, with the vegetables, fish and meats, cheeses, herbs and spices of France. You will find some of most important restaurants within a few miles of the Burgundy canal, such as Bernard Loiseau or L'Esperance with Marc Meneau. Tasting the gourmet dishes from these chefs, who have made French cuisine a fine art, could be the highlight to your cruise. You can also discover some of the smaller restaurants, hidden in some of the country villages, they have a table with some very special regional dishes: Boeuf Bourguignon, Oeufs aux Meurettes, Coq au Vin, all using the rich red wines from Burgundy.

Wine delights

The names such as Corton, Gevrey Chambertin and Montrachet have always stirred emotions of wine lovers, now you can cruise and savour some of the most renowned names and Crus of Burgundy. For hundreds of years Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vineyards on the hillsides of the Cote de Nuit and Cote de Beaune, have been harvested by hand, stored in oak barrels then placed in cool cellars. The skills and techniques have been passed down form the Cistercian monks to the Burgundian vignerons for centuries.

During the cruise, you will have a complete insight into the fascinating Burgundy art of wine making, with an excursion into the vineyards and wine producers of the Cote de Beaune.
